Role Summary:

The Senior Finance Data Operations Lead / Digital Product Support Lead owns the end-to-end Finance data interface ecosystem spanning upstream ERP systems, the enterprise data platform (Snowflake), and downstream consuming applications.

This role is accountable for defining and governing scalable data operations processes, ensuring data integrity and reliability at enterprise scale, and acting as a trusted speaking partner to Finance, IT, Architecture, and external service providers.

The role focuses on permanent issue resolution, process standardization, data governance, and stakeholder communication, while guiding Level 1 resources and working closely with Level 2/3 IT support teams to drive long-term stability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, own, and govern end-to-end Finance data interface processes, operating models, and control frameworks.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Finance data operational health, escalations, and risk management.
• Oversee performance, stability, and integrity of Finance data pipelines across Snowflake and downstream systems.
• Lead complex and recurring root cause analysis for high-impact or systemic data issues.
• Partner closely with Level 2/3 IT support teams and external vendors to ensure permanent, sustainable fixes rather than short-term workarounds.
• Clearly articulate data issues, business impact, root cause, and recommended solutions to senior and executive stakeholders.
• Design, implement, and govern data quality controls, reconciliation frameworks, and exception management mechanisms.
• Establish and standardize runbooks, operating procedures, and incident management practices across Finance data operations.
• Proactively identify data risks, control gaps, and process weaknesses, driving mitigation plans.
• Own and track operational KPIs, SLAs, and service health metrics; present insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Mentor, guide, and upskill junior data operations resources.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT Architecture, Digital, and Transformation teams to support new initiatives, system changes, and platform enhancements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on data reliability, automation, scalability, and performance optimization.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 7–10+ years of experience in Finance data operations, data engineering support, or enterprise data platform roles.
• Extensive hands-on and architectural experience managing enterprise-scale data platforms handling high-volume, business-critical Finance data.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Snowflake, including performance tuning, complex validations, reconciliation logic, and troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of enterprise Finance systems and ERP platforms such as Oracle (EBS / Fusion) and SAP (ECC / S/4HANA).
• Strong experience with data warehousing, ETL frameworks, and cloud data platforms.
• Proven experience working with workload scheduling and automation tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Control-M).
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, controls, and reconciliation frameworks in Finance environments.
• Demonstrated experience acting as a stakeholder-facing lead, managing cross-functional dependencies across Finance, IT, and external vendors.
• Strong ability to translate Finance business logic into data rules, controls, and permanent technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and executive-level articulation skills.
• Proven track record of driving complex issues to resolution across multiple teams and vendors.
