Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Represent Sourcing during scheduled functional reviews and prepare Sourcing Review templates for leadership Business Reviews for NPI programs
  • Engage with Supplier Quality Engineers to drive a robust process on Supplier Selection, Supplier qualification and monitor Supplier Performance KPIs to develop supply base ability to deliver value
  • Work effectively with technology, supplier quality, site materials and supply chain personnel on day-to-day problem resolutions, engineering change process and improvement opportunities
  • Lead assigned sourcing initiatives and developed sourcing strategy to drive product lines deflation, sole source elimination, supplier early engagement, supplier on time delivery, supplier MOQ/lead-time reduction/VMI programs.
  • Partner with key commodity sourcing leaders to align sourcing strategy, initiatives and leverage volumes globally and regionally
  • Engage the business leadership team to develop sourcing programs / processes
  • Conduct qualification & competitive analysis of vendor products / services
  • Develop, plan, and manage programs to meet GE purchasing commitments in Sourcing
  • Manage the complete purchasing and contracts (MSA, NDA and Bailments)

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years Sourcing / Supplier Management experience in a major industrial environment
  • Ability to collaborate with remote team across time zones
  • Knowledge/expertise of Grid Automation product lines, electronic components and mechanical assemblies
  • Interpretation of purchasing contracts, industry standards, regulatory requirement documents

The base pay range for this position is $106,400.00 – 159,600.00 CAD Annual.  The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
