DESCRIPTION:
Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Manufacturing Sciences Scientist I, where you'll contribute to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. In this role, you'll support manufacturing operations by developing, optimizing and implementing production processes while ensuring compliance with quality standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to manufacture critical products for diagnostics, research, and therapeutic applications. The position offers opportunities to enhance processes, solve technical challenges, and directly impact patient care through high-quality manufacturing.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree required with 0-3 years prior experience required in a GMP environment
• Preferred Fields of Study: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related scientific field
• Strong understanding of analytical methods, quality control testing, and documentation practices
• Demonstrated proficiency in standard laboratory techniques and equipment operation
• Experience with chromatography, spectroscopy, and other analytical instrumentation
• Working knowledge of GMP, GDP, and other relevant regulatory requirements
• Strong technical writing skills for SOPs, batch records, and investigation reports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and laboratory information systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in teams
• Ability to work various schedules including potential overtime when needed
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds and work in laboratory/manufacturing environments
• English language proficiency required; additional languages beneficial
