Job purpose
Responsible for managing administrative processes and procedures in the purchasing area.
Location
Viana do Castelo plant, Portugal
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the procedure for updating supplier prices in SAP.
Manage and solve supplier invoice issues.
Prepare and provide appropriate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) under your responsibility.
Maintain/update supplier data in SAP and EASL (Enterprise Approved Source List).
Ensure accurate information regarding documentation for creating new suppliers.
Create Purchase Requisitions (PRs) when necessary.
Assist with daily purchasing routines.
Promote efficient and open communication within the department and with other departments of the organization.
Ensure respect for and compliance with workplace safety and cleanliness standards.
Continuously ensure the improvement of health, safety, and environmental conditions.
Participate in the definition, implementation, and maintenance of organizational policies.
Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the Environmental Management, Health, and Safety at Work Policy.
Efficiently use different energy sources, adopting practices that promote reduced energy consumption and responsible resource use, in accordance with the SGE Policy.
Perform other tasks not included in the activity for which you were hired, when service needs or convenience justify it, for the period of time necessary for said service needs or conveniences.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor Degree in related field
Master’s degree preferred
Engineering training will be valued
Relevant experience in the field will be valued
Relevant negotiation experience will be valued.
Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Good English skills
