We are seeking a skilled and proactive SharePoint, Office 365, and Power Platform Administrator to manage, optimize, and support our Microsoft 365 environment. This role is responsible for maintaining platform stability, improving collaboration capabilities, and ensuring effective issue resolution across the organization. The ideal candidate will also act as a key liaison between Level 2 support teams and Product SMEs to ensure smooth escalations and timely issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
SharePoint Administration
- Manage and maintain SharePoint Online sites, site collections, permissions, and storage.
- Configure and customize SharePoint lists, libraries, workflows, metadata, and content structures.
- Implement governance, information architecture standards, and site lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoot access issues, content management problems, and performance concerns.
- Support site redesigns, migrations, and integration with Microsoft 365 apps.
- Develop and enhance SharePoint pages, templates, and communication hubs.
Office 365 Administration
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD, and Security & Compliance.
- Oversee user lifecycle management: provisioning, licensing, deactivation, and group administration.
- Monitor platform health, alerts, and changes through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
- Maintain and configure security policies, MFA, conditional access, and DLP.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for Microsoft 365-related incidents and escalations.
Service Management
- Bridge the gap between Level 2 Support and Product SMEs, ensuring seamless communication, effective escalations, and timely resolution of complex issues.
- Manage ServiceNow requests and incidents, including prioritization, assignment, updates, and ensuring SLAs are met.
- Document resolutions, maintain knowledge base articles, and identify recurring issues for long-term improvements.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and continuous service improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Required
- 3–5+ years of experience administering SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
- Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory, permissions, and Microsoft 365 governance.
- Experience working in an ITIL-based support environment (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a liaison between support teams and product experts.
Preferred
- PowerShell scripting experience for automation and administration tasks.
- SharePoint migration experience.
- Relevant certifications (MS-102, MS-700, PL-100, PL-300, etc.).
