$18.85 - $28.30Major Responsibilities: Serve food to associates, doctors and visitors according to established policies and procedures. 1)Serves food to retail patrons using proper food handling procedures. See that all food items are attractively prepared and served. 2)Post retail menus and require displays marketing daily fares, making changes to retail menus as requested. 3)Performs food preparation, assembly, and demonstration cooking as required. 4)Restocks retail supplies using FIFO method. 5)Records temperature of hot foods at each meal. Record temperature of refrigerators and freezers. 6)Maintains accurate food production records. 7)Set up,delivers,serves, and breaks down catered functions. 8)Operators cash register, recieves money and reconciles cash drawer. Generates register reports. 9)Set up doctors dining room according to menu and replenish food items accordingly every half hour. Maintains accurate food production records. 10)Maintains friendly, efficient and responsive attitude toward customers while performing job duties. Display behavioral expectations. Maintenance of safe and sanitary environment, observing sanitation and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies. 3)Observe safety regulations regarding careful and correct operation of equipment. 4)Report to management equipment in need of repair. 5)Wear appropriate head covering and gloves when handling food. 6)Perform all task using proper body mechanics. 7)Check the appearance of food and report any discrepancies. 8)Completes and turns in daily sanitation checklist. 1)Maintains and sanitize work area and all related equipment. 2)Ensure that all food items are properly labeled, dated, rotated and stored appropriately. Participation in self development by attending mandatory inservices and education programs appropriate to the goals and needs of the department. 4)Submits ideas for changes or improvement to manager. 5)Willing to interact with co-workers in a team atmosphere in order to help find a better way to perform the job. 1)Attends all department/hospital inservices and other meetings as required. 2)Must complete annual CBT. 3)Participate in the Associate Satisfaction Survey. 6)Ensures compliance to all regulatory agencies standards. 7)Participates in effort to monitor and improve customer satisfaction through How's the Food Survey. 8)Submits ideas for reducing department expenses and maintaining budget. Education/Experience Required: High school graduate or GED. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Must be able to read, follow instructions, count money, and use basic math skills. N/A Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to communicate with customers. Ability to do medium lifting between 20 to 50 pounds occassionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly. Ability to push and pull associated with duties. This requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 08/01/2014. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For lifts over 35 pounds, lifting equipment is expected to be used or lift with at least one other associate when available.
