What You Will Do:

Responsibilities include supporting the stakeholder engagement specialists by developing stakeholder engagement plans, stakeholder maps, amplification plans, community briefings, webinars, fact sheets, info graphics, and stakeholder assessments. Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Providing detailed fact finding, research, and analysis on energy-related activities

  • Researching topics associated with clean energy demonstration projects

  • Assessing stakeholder sentiments and analyzing trends

  • Collecting data to evaluate progress on stakeholder engagement activities

  • Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents for clients


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline

  • Minimum of one to three (1-3) years of experience

  • Experience with utility-scale clean hydrogen projects, NGOs and energy sector organizations

  • Knowledge of U.S. Department of Energy programs

  • Strong interest in clean energy such as hydrogen hubs, direct air capture, long-duration energy storage, carbon management, advanced nuclear, industrial decarbonization, clean energy in rural or remote areas, and clean energy on mine lands and/or relevant experience in these fields

  • Must currently reside in the USA

  • Due to nature of client engagement, must either be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident

  • The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described

  • This role is a Hybrid role which will require you to go into the Arlington, VA, Guidehouse Office (or Client office in DC) up to three (3) days a week or on occasion

  • Ability to travel as needed


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline

  • Preference will be given to candidates who reside within a reasonable number of miles of the Arlington, VA, Guidehouse Office
