Team Description
The Procurement team is responsible for driving efficient, strategic, and value‑focused purchasing activities across the organization. We partner closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure the company has access to the right products and services at the best possible value.
Role and Responsibilities
- Execute end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle activities for assigned categories, with guidance for complex negotiations or escalations.
- Participate in vendor negotiations and support the development of negotiation strategies.
- Contribute to category planning activities, including vendor tiering, spend analysis, and opportunity identification.
- Identify and support initiatives related to cost savings, cost avoidance, and process improvements.
- Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of contractual documents to reflect services and required service levels.
- Provide timely and informed responses to internal customer inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key vendors and internal partners (Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Risk, Security).
- Escalate complex issues appropriately.
- Support continuous improvement efforts within Procurement activities.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain.
- Experience interacting with and negotiating with vendors.
- Knowledge of ERP and Contract Management/Purchasing Systems (SAP and Coupa preferred).
- Strong communication, analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with increasing independence.
