Description:

Supply Chain Associate - Shift Wednesday - Sunday, 9am-5pm

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Supply Chain Associate (SCA) to join our team. This flex position requires the ability to cover all aspects of the supply chain operations, ensuring seamless support throughout the overnight and weekend shifts. The SCA will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient and organized supply chain processes across various areas including Perpetual,  Procedural areas such as Ambulatory surgery, Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, Labor and Delivery, NICU Operating room, Clean Supply Room and Receiving.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Inventory management for perpetual, procedural areas, clean supply room, Bedside carts, Hemorrhage carts and loading dock
  • Restock and manage inventory levels to ensure supplies are readily available for patient care.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness for all supply chain areas        Conduct monthly expiration sweeps
  • Accurate picks and preparation of perpetual supplies for various services areas.     
  •  Receiving in various of inbound shipments, ensuring the custody of packages.
  • Engage with Supply Chain Leaders and Clinical Leaders to maintain adequate inventory level for patient care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Familiarity with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system

Required Criteria:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least one year of previous inventory/operational systems experience
  • Window-based computer literacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to function independently
  • Strong commitment to providing outstanding patient care
  • Ability to utilize elevators and move up to 50 lbs of supplies

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
