About this role:

The Chief Operating Office Technology(COO Tech) organization, provides technology services for the Chief Operating Office. This includes operations, control executives, strategic execution, business continuity and resiliency, data solutions and services, regulatory relations, customer experience, enterprise shared services, supply chain management, and the corporate properties group. COO Technology provides technology solutions and manages application portfolios for these groups to support modernization and optimization. CAO Technology is the dedicated technology team supporting Corporate Properties, Corporate Security, Supply Chain Management, Enterprise Resiliency, Privacy, CAO Data and Insights technology needs.

Within COO Technology we are seeking a Senior Scrum Master to lead scrum teams supporting work across teams in CAO Technology. The desired candidate has depth and breadth in a Scrum Master role in an Agile environment. We require seasoned experience across multiple competencies and a history of outstanding execution.  Your contributions in this role will be an important element of our agile practice, helping realize our vision to enable and continuously improve our Scrum Master and Kanban Lead community.


In this role, you will:

  • Serve a critical role in our transforming organization responsible for coaching and supporting Scrum Masters and Kanban Leads in your product by actively advocating for and coaching growth in, Agile capabilities and mindset
  • Enable and accelerate quality outcomes by assertively and proactively raising issues to influence change
  • Manage and develop Scaled Agile portfolios of the highest complexity
  • Guide the teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint
  • Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance
  • Oversee systemic impediments to team agility and guide the teams on methods to escalate
  • Deliver capabilities using agile practices while following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met
  • Partner with discipline managers to convey their concerns to scrum teams about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards
  • Collaborate with product owners, program or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the teams and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of technology delivery and relationship management experience with small and large business units in a large corporate environment
  • 4+ years of JIRA and Confluence
  • 3+ years of experience leveraging metrics to improve agility, value delivery & Agile Maturity


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAFe RTE/STE in a large-scale enterprise, preferably financial services
  • Experience with generative conversational AI Chatbots; human-to-computer communication
  • Skilled servant leadership, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Knowledge of patterns and practices for facilitation of Agile teams 
  • Experienced team building skills working with various-sized, distributed or co-located teams 
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work with situations of ambiguity, conflict, and uncertainty in order drive outcomes forward
  • Experience partnering across groups to implement requirements and achieve desired outcomes
  • General knowledge of Wells Fargo business groups and enterprise functions, and specifically Wells Fargo Technology
  • Knowledge and understanding of compiling and preparing executive summaries and presentations for management/senior leaders
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, prioritizing skills and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines, interact with all levels of an organization and manage initiatives involving process improvements
  • Ownership mentality with an ability to design and drive successful execution of priorities
  • Solid creative and strategic thinking skills

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$100,000.00 - $163,000.00
