Job Summary:       

The Integrated Care Intake Specialist I is responsible to complete all activities related to incoming alerts/referrals received from the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) in a timely manner. The Integrated Care Intake Specialist I is also responsible to ensure that updates are made in the clinical documentation system as well as program specific tasks.

Essential Functions:

  • Complete activities necessary to ensure that alerts/referrals are completed in the timeframes established per the contract with Ohio Department of Medicaid
  • Complete activities necessary to ensure the updates are completed in the clinical documentation system
  • Ensure that tasks related to the Specialized Recovery Services Plan (SRSP) Weekly Determination are completed correctly and submitted in a timely manner
  • Ensure that SRSP Weekly Determination Results are processed correctly and sent to the appropriate team
  • Complete activities necessary related to MyCare Transfers/Disenrollments
  • Ensure that tasks are completed when an enrolled individual passes away
  • Assist with billing activities as needed
  • May assist with cross train team members and new hire training on an ad hoc basis
  • Perform any other job related instructions as requested

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare environment is required
  • Managed care experience is preferred

  • Working knowledge of Ohio Department of Medicaid’s systems preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Work from Home; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:

$34,500.00 - $55,100.00
