As a Plant Director, you will be responsible for the full operational performance of the Littelfuse Matehuala manufacturing site, focused on switches and circuit breakers. You will lead all functional areas — including Production, Engineering, Quality, Facilities, ESH, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse & Logistics, and Lean/TQM — ensuring operational excellence and alignment with our Business Unit’s strategic goals.
Your leadership will drive a culture of safety, quality, performance, and accountability across the site, enabling success through operational efficiency and people development.
Provide overall site leadership as the highest-ranking authority in the plant, overseeing all functions and ensuring business alignment.
Implement manufacturing strategy and cost management to achieve productivity, profitability, and operational excellence.
Lead and develop a high-performance team, promoting empowerment, accountability, and succession planning.
Oversee production, engineering, maintenance, and process improvement initiatives to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
Ensure compliance with quality systems (ISO 9000, 14000, TS16949), environmental, labor, and safety regulations.
Drive Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement programs to eliminate waste and optimize performance.
Manage warehouse, materials, and logistics operations to meet customer and business objectives.
Represent the site in audits, corporate meetings, and interactions with customers, government, and community stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field; Master’s preferred.
Proven experience in senior manufacturing leadership roles (Plant Manager / Director level).
Strong track record in P&L management, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
Deep understanding of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and safety management.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Willingness to travel as needed (domestic and international).
