Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will analyze, design, code, and test various components of application code across multiple clients. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to perform maintenance and enhancements, ensuring that the applications function optimally and meet client needs. You will also be responsible for developing new features and troubleshooting issues, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Roles & Responsibilities: - Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. - Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work. - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP HANA DB Administration. - Memory management in SAP 2 OOM issues at ABAP, JAVA, HANA 3 latest concepts for MDC, XSA - A minimum of 4 exhaustive years of troubleshooting in various products of SAP BASIS administration - Offer Third-Level Support as an SAP BASIS administrator - Working on complex troubleshooting and on outages for restoring the availability of systems for normal operations - Strong understanding of system performance tuning and optimization. - Experience with database management and backup strategies. - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. - Complete knowledge on the architecture of SAP BASIS on every component used - Candidate should have in-depth hands-on ABAP/JAVA/HANA experience - Candidate should have at least one third party software Non-NW like BOBJ/BODS/OpenText experience - Expert knowledge of Basis/NetWeaver, OS Linux, HANA, Sybase DB - Good knowledge in dual stack Application Server-ABAP Java based systems - Perform Root cause analysis for critical incidents and drive escalations calls with the customer Additional Information: - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Good team player 3 Must be flexible to support 24/7 shifts - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
