The Tax Intern works closely with RKL's tax professionals who keep a constant pulse on industry developments and the regulatory environment from a local, state, national and global perspective to deliver tax compliance and strategy solutions that work for our client organizations. The Tax team draws upon their understanding of clients’ unique needs and goals to formulate tax strategies centered around their best interests.

  • Various assignments consisting of completing forms related to foreign investments, partnerships with foreign activities, and projects relating to depreciation and fixed assets

Education, Experience and Certifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Desire to pursue the CPA designation and a career in professional services/public accounting and
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills required
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
     

Essential Functions

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and at client offices to access file cabinets, office machinery etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external actors as needed
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel to local and non-local clients as needed, overnight travel may be required

Salary Range:

$20.00 - $25.00
