We're hiring a Resource Manager at Merkle in Sofia. 

The purpose of the role

The purpose of this role is to drive effective resource management across the CXM Service Line, ensuring that supply and demand are optimally balanced to support client and functional teams. The role is accountable for enabling strategies that meet resourcing needs while upholding delivery excellence and supporting strong practice management. It involves close collaboration with growth, HR, finance, operations, and talent acquisition to ensure timely staffing and consistent, high‑quality client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end resource requests, validating requirements, budget availability, and identifying suitable candidates for open assignments.

  • Monitor resource capacity and utilization, proactively balancing workloads and addressing over- or under-utilization risks.

  • Resolve staffing conflicts by identifying alternative solutions and collaborating with project teams, managers, and stakeholders.

  • Partner closely with Account Teams, Service Line Leaders, Recruitment, HR Business Partners, and Operations teams to align resource supply and demand.

  • Maintain accurate resource management data, reporting, and system updates.

  • Review project pipelines and upcoming opportunities to anticipate future staffing needs.

  • Support resource planning and review meetings, track actions, and facilitate risk mitigation activities.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to resource management, talent pipelining, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning.

  • Match resources to opportunities that align with both business needs and individual development goals.

  • Communicate the business, financial, client, and skills impact of staffing decisions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Resource Management, Recruitment, Workforce Planning, or Operations.

  • Experience working with stakeholder groups across multiple levels of an organization.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting people, financial, and operational data.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate activities across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach.

  • Experience with financial concepts, resource utilization, and staffing efficiency initiatives.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

  • Experience with Adobe Workfront is an advantage.

  • Self-motivated, service-oriented, and able to work with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Monitor resource capacity and utilisation, proactively balancing workloads and addressing over- or under-utilisation risks.
