Flow Traders is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a newly formed team focusing on Deep Learning research and model-based trading. This is an opportunity to join a greenfield project and have an impact on a wide range of technology decisions and design choices. The ideal candidate would be driven by a start-up environment and should be excited to learn and work across all parts of the project.

What you will do

• Design, develop and manage cloud-based IT environments
• Select, integrate and administer third party software and services
• Monitor security and efficiency of IT infrastructure in-line with industry best practices
• Set-up and maintain ownership of CI/CD stack, including support and best practices for developers
• Build out cloud environments - design and implement with infrastructure as code
• Support research and development teams with everyday operations

 

What you need to succeed:

• 5+ years in a relevant role, preferably with BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS
• Proficiency in automation/scripting, infrastructure as code and CI/CD
• Deep understanding of operating systems, networking, containerization and operations
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements, a plus
• Experience with Machine Learning tooling and services, a plus
