We are an aspiring organisation, and we are looking for equally bold and creative GenAI Global Product Owner to join our established team. Nissan is positioned to become the most desirable Asian brand in Europe, and we need your help to get there.
Purpose
The digital experience is at the heart of the relationship between the brands and their customers. With PACE (Platform accelerating customer experience) and enterprise Customer Experience journey organisations, Nissan aims to offer customers with the best experience through market leading technology for their online and offline interactions with the different Nissan brands, be it through a computer, a mobile phone or a tablet, or personal experience with Nissan representatives.
As a GenAI Product Owner, you will lead the development and implementation of AI-powered solutions to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will drive product strategy, define, and measure key performance indicators, and build compelling business cases to support product investments. Your responsibilities encompass gathering and refining product requirements, optimising the product portfolio, and creating a robust product roadmap. You will collaborate closely with global and regional market teams, build strong stakeholder relationships, and work in agile environments to deliver value iteratively. With a deep focus on GenAI, you will identify and prioritise AI-driven features, ensuring data quality, privacy, and ethical considerations are embedded throughout the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop and refine AI models and measure the impact of AI on customer experiences and business outcomes.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Manage and deliver digital customer experiences across multiple product areas, leveraging AI/Gen AI to enhance features and customer interactions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define Global GenAI product vision, strategy, and roadmap, incorporating Gen AI opportunities to achieve business objectives.
Create compelling product narratives and roadmaps, highlighting the role of Gen AI in delivering value.
Utilise data and analytics, including AI-powered insights, to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
Become an industry specialist in GenAI, continuously exploring and implementing Gen AI advancements to create ground-breaking products and services.
Ensure ethical and legal AI usage globally.

Innovation: Stay updated on GenAI advancements, conduct experiments, and drive innovation.
Ethical AI: Ensure responsible and compliant use of GenAI.
Product ownership: Define, manage, optimise and promote your product portfolio.
Market analysis: Gather insights through analytics, research, and stakeholder engagement.
Requirement gathering: Define, prioritise, and manage product requirements.
Product delivery: Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
Performance measurement: Track product performance, identify opportunities, and report on results.
Stakeholder management: Build relationships, communicate effectively, and manage expectations.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work with teams across the organisation to influence regional GenAI strategies and encourage the adoption of Global Products.
Project management: Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Documentation: Create and maintain product documentation, including roadmaps, requirements, and reports.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on product performance and progress.
Tool utilisation: Leverage tools for product management, data analysis, and collaboration.
Skills and Attributes Required
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-past, dynamic environment
Very strong written and verbal communication skills
Very strong analytical skills to understand / interpret and support translation of automotive customer’s business needs into application and operational requirements
Strong problem-solving skills to support creation of workable solutions to automotive business problems, ability to understand and trouble-shoot anticipated and unanticipated changes
Ability to understand complexities, nuances of stakeholder, core team members and vendor partners to ensure workstreams and activities are delivering
Qualifications or Knowledge Required
Experienced in AI Product Ownership, preferably with GenAI experience
Functional knowledge of LLM’s, web applications, information systems, digital marketing solutions such as mobile, social media platforms
Product management tools like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams and Aha experience is required for lifecycle management, idea tracking, feature/project tracking, and documentation
Knowledge of platform development support tools such as Jira, documentation wikis, configuration management tools
Design Thinking methodology experience for facilitation of workshop sessions for problem and solution needs definition
Experience
Several years of experience in similar roles
Technology familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and Adobe suite of products is a plus (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager)
Experience working with a complex global CMS platform with multiple integrations and local solutions and nuances
Experience working with and managing multiple digital agencies
Experience presenting to C-level executives required
A background in automotive is preferred but not required. Strong product development experience is considered more important with the ability to bring mature process methodologies to Nissan’s product team.
