  • Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month
  • Annual Salary Pay: $75,000.00 per year based on experience
  • Annual Bonus Incentive: Up to 10% or more of salary per year
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Hours may vary as travel required 60% or greater)

Summary
Full ownership and management of agent relationships in support of the field operations, including identification and evaluation of new agents, onboarding/training of new agents, upholding service expectations and full resolution of service failures.

Essential Functions

  • Manage agents to ensure they are meeting all client expectations (inventory, deluxing, invoicing and incident rate).
  • Support project managers with new client on boarding. Identify, recruit and on-board overflow capacity for hubs. Audit accepted standards and procedures within designated region. Train Network Carriers (Onboarding, and Reoccurring). Integrate new business to achieve customer KPI goals and profit budgets. Accountable for launch support of new business opportunities.
  • Interface with clients to ensure quality performance by Carriers. Provide feedback to Carriers as necessary to improve performance. Address questions and/or issues regarding Carrier daily performance with the client and/or Carrier. Train Carriers and associates on operational performance tools to ensure consistent usage and valid performance metrics. Ensure Carrier compliance with contractual obligations, including related administrative functions, systems updates, and metrics reporting. Provide systems trouble-shooting and metrics reporting production for assigned Carriers.
  • Develop and implement innovative processes to enhance productivity and service. Develop, implement, and distribute operational performance reports related to leadership to aid in decision making. Research, analyze, and evaluate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to identify and recommend areas of improvement. Partner with Carriers, Carrier team, and Hub Operations to identify areas of improvement. Communicate recommendations and support implementation of process improvements.
  • Perform physical inventories at various Network Carrier locations. Ensure needed inventory processes are followed by sites and that inventories are conducted accurately. Perform site audits and relays feedback on visits to Network Carriers.
  • On time reporting of metrics information (i.e., on time delivery, percentage of scheduled deliveries, claims, OS&D, incidents and delivery exceptions, etc.)

Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred Business, Logistics or related field
  • Three (3) years to Five (5) years or more operations experience in a distribution center/warehousing environment required
  • Three (3) years to Five (5) years or more supervisory experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook) intermediate required
  • Warehouse software (i.e. SAP, AS400, WMS) and other related software intermediate required
  • Home delivery services intermediate preferred
