Must reside within the state of Arizona.

Position Purpose: Guide and mentor the provider agency peer or family support partners to ensure adherence to SAMHSA Peer and Family best practice, fidelity to recovery model, and increase understanding of emerging recovery practices. Report efforts and outcomes to leadership.

  • Provide ongoing support and training to peer or family supports at provider agencies to ensure adherence to best practice, fidelity to recovery model, and increasing understanding of emerging recovery practices
  • Report to leadership suggested solutions to any identified gaps in network, service capabilities, and trends regarding peer or family support services.
  • Develop training class and presentations for management approval and delivery to provider Peer or Family Support.
  • Stay up to date with the Peer and Family Advisory Councils in each community; be available to fill-in for Peer and Family Support Program Guides, ensuring state requirements for frequency and internal requirements for documentation and execution are met. May be required to facilitate ALTCS member advisory councils.
  • Develop for approval and update the Peer or Family Support Partner Training Modules.
  • Monitor the provider Peer or Family workforce in each service area to ensure appropriate staffing levels reporting data to leadership.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with provider management and community supports.
  • Support the health plans outreach effort in collaboration with internal departments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of related behavioral health experience.

For Arizona: Personal experience as a consumer or family member of a consumer in the Arizona Long Term Care system (ALTCS) or Arizona behavioral health system.

Pay Range: $54,000.00 - $97,100.00 per year
