Summary: The SAP Basis Technical Analyst is responsible for performing day-to-day technical tasks for a project, including all project activities. Duties may span all Practice Areas involved (i.e., Design/Build/Run, Operations Architecture, System Administration, Database, ERP and other technical frameworks, etc.). The Basis Technical Analyst will serve as the individual providing expertise in a specific area and troubleshooting and issue resolution for moderately complex environments. The Basis Technical Analyst will be a moderately experienced member of the basis technology team who will be responsible for providing support for the technical infrastructure of the SAP solution across all production stacks along with daily system monitoring and issue resolution. This individual will have the opportunities to do some project work. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provides technical input for all maintenance requests that are entered into project-identified change management. - Perform all activities related to technical maintenance and administration of the SAP environments - Provide DBA and limited OS support as it relates to the SAP Landscape - Provide proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of the SAP Landscape - Develop and maintain appropriate documentation for system activities and ensure change control is followed as necessary - Participate in application updates and upgrade projects - Perform system refreshes - HANA Administration - SAP HANA administration, regular monitoring and tuning - High availability and disaster recovery - Backup and recovery plans - Leveraging HANA cockpit and security measures - Memory management Professional & Technical Skills: - Understanding and experience in back-up, recovery, Experience supporting interfaces, Performance Tuning Experience, Understanding of BW, R/3 and CRM integration, Process improvement / including documenting and implementation of processes. - Conduct performance tuning - Participate in on-call support rotation - Handle technology issues and escalate as necessary to expert level help - Execute projects when requested - Implement process improvement measures within the environment. - Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Operating System / knowledge of system commands and structures -- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Production SAP environment (SAP Basis R/3 Netweaver, BW, Solution Manager, SAP HANA Technologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required. - Good communication skills and ready 24 x 7 rotational shifts
