Global Bank Network Management (BNM) is part of the Operations division. BNM provides best in class banking services to our business partners and clients, while strengthening regulatory compliance, governance, and control over Citi owned bank accounts. BNM global functions include Relationship Management, Regulatory, Bank Signatory Management, and Third-Party Risk.

Responsibilities:

The Regulatory team are responsible for the ongoing monitoring of Bank Sub-Custodian relationships and Client Money relationships, performing co-ordination and control activities to ensure compliance with, but not limited to, the FCA CASS 6 and 7, CBI CAR, AIFMD, SEC, OCC and CFTC regulations:

In this position your responsibilities include:

• Annual due diligence programs of client asset bank providers and third-party banks (required under FCA, AIFMD, CFTC, SEC, MAS and OCC)
• Ongoing monitoring of bank’s credit worthiness, service performance and market structure
• Regulatory Compliance oversight and Control monitoring reporting activities
• Oversight of legal documentation such as No Lien letters, Client Money acknowledgment letters, sub-custody agreements and contracts
• Coordination with many areas of the Firm is required (Governance Office, Compliance, Legal, Business, etc.)

Ideal background:

• 2-3 years of experience in Finance or the international securities industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree
• Understanding of the securities settlement process & custody operations, cash management/services, foreign exchange, payments and derivatives, futures
• Basic knowledge on third party management regulations and client asset segregation rules would be an advantage
• Motivated and independent worker with good analytical and communication skills
• Experience in managing relationships
