Project Role Description : Assists with the data platform blueprint and design, encompassing the relevant data platform components. Collaborates with the Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models.

Summary As a Senior Analyst in the SAS Analytics practice at Accenture, you will leverage your expertise in SAS technologies to design, build, and optimize analytical solutions that enable high-quality insights and improved business decision-making. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable analytical workflows using SAS Base, Advanced SAS, SAS Macros, and reporting tools. You will also contribute to requirements gathering, solution design, data preparation, modelling, and performance tuning. Your role will require strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders, support delivery teams, and resolve complex analytical challenges. You will be instrumental in driving data accuracy, process efficiency, and analytical excellence aligned with Accenture’s delivery standards. Roles & Responsibilities • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAS Analytics across delivery teams. • Lead and mentor team members to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices. • Own and drive key technical decisions related to SAS program design, data sourcing, modelling, and automation. • Work with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to gather requirements and design scalable SAS-based analytical solutions. • Develop statistical models, perform data analysis, and generate insights to support client decision-making. • Build and optimize SAS workflows, including ETL logic, analytical routines, and automated reporting frameworks. • Provide end-to-end solutions to technical and analytical issues, working across multiple teams when necessary. • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. • Create and maintain detailed documentation for analytical processes, data logic, and solution architecture. Professional & Technical Skills • Must Have Skills : Strong proficiency in SAS Base, Advanced SAS, SAS Macros, SAS SQL, and analytical procedures. • Hands-on experience in data preparation, data wrangling, and ETL development using SAS. • Expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, exploratory analytics, and data validation. • Ability to work with large and complex datasets and optimize SAS jobs for performance. • Experience with SAS Grid, SAS Viya, or SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) preferred. • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting capabilities. • Understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and compliance requirements. • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and familiarity with industry-standard delivery methodologies. Good to Have Skills • Exposure to cloud analytical platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or migration from SAS to cloud technologies. • Experience in domain-specific analytics such as Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Risk, Fraud, or Marketing Analytics. • Knowledge of Python/R for complementary analytical tasks."
