About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a Director of Customer Sales to lead, coach, and mentor a team of Account Executives responsible for driving growth within existing Corporate and SMB customer accounts. This role is focused on expanding customer value through upsell, cross-sell, renewals, and long-term account development. The team manages the full expansion sales cycle in close partnership with Customer Success, Channel, and Product teams.

Role will be based out either our UK (Reading) or Barcelona office. Candidates must be willing and able to commute to one or other of these offices. WFH flexibility by agreement with the manager. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Build discipline, structure, and cadence across the expansion sales team to optimize execution throughout the account lifecycle.

  • Provide Director-level leadership to front-line sales managers and/or senior individual contributors focused on existing customer growth.

  • Coach managers and reps on expansion sales strategies, account planning, value-based selling, and best practices for upsell and cross-sell motions.

  • Drive predictable expansion revenue, renewals, and forecast accuracy across the team.

  • Lead adoption of sales excellence initiatives and methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC) tailored to expansion and account growth motions.

  • Partner closely with Customer Success, Renewals, Channel, and Marketing teams to identify expansion opportunities, improve retention, and increase customer lifetime value.

  • Oversee pipeline generation and progression within existing accounts to increase close rates and deal sizes.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and ramping of high-performing expansion sales talent.

  • Engage directly with customers to understand evolving security needs and align CrowdStrike solutions to drive deeper adoption and value realization.

  • Represent the expansion sales organization at internal meetings, customer briefings, and industry events as required.

  • Some travel required to attend internal meetings and customer engagements.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience in a technology company, with a strong focus on account expansion, renewals, and customer growth; SaaS and/or Security experience preferred.

  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams focused on existing account revenue growth.

  • Experience managing front-line sales managers and/or senior Account Executives, with consistent achievement of expansion and retention targets.

  • Strong understanding of account planning, customer value frameworks, and expansion sales motions.

  • Experience leveraging Salesforce and reporting tools to drive data-informed decision-making and forecast accuracy.

  • Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain talent in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Channel sales experience and ability to leverage partners to drive customer expansion.
