Labcorp is seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer to join our team in Durham, NC.
Work Schedule: This is a full time, exempt (salaried) position. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. Business needs may occasionally require additional hours, including after‑hours support, based on project demands and production needs.
Work Location: This role is based in Durham, NC. Applicants who live within approximately 35 miles of the Durham location will follow a hybrid schedule, with a minimum of three days per week onsite to support collaboration and team engagement.

About the Role
The Lead Software Development Engineer plays a key role in designing, developing, and supporting mission‑critical laboratory systems that enable complex clinical and operational workflows. This position combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to deliver high‑performance LIMS applications using modern technologies and cloud platforms. The role partners closely with cross‑functional teams to drive innovation, improve system scalability, and support Labcorp’s ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
