Roles and Responsibilities
Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.
Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

Leads overall site materials team for growth, development and effectiveness
Develop, implement and control a materials strategy to meet business objectives. (Turns, Finished Goods, WIP, RIP, Overdues, OTD and Customer Kanban)
Own and control site MRP including development of a site labor planning model
Support and initiate Lean-manufacturing techniques to drive improvements.
Support Sourcing in key supplier activities and deflation metrics.
Develop and validate PSI (production, sales & Inventory) requirements to optimize material and labor in meeting customer demands, reducing overdues and improving on-time delivery
Direct Materials staff to meet inventory and cost criteria.
Develop and improve shipping and receiving functions to meet and exceed internal and external Quality PPM expectations.
Work closely with Finance support to ensure that all metrics and results tie to Business commitments.
Support and develop requirements and improvements for EHS.
Required Qualifications
This role requires significant experience in the Manufacturing & Materials Planning and Execution. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
4 Year degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s).
10+ years of manufacturing experience

Lean Certification
Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Strong computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and MES.
Strong interpersonal/ persuasion skills with the ability to communicate at all layers of the Business.
Team building skills with the ability to mentor and train reports.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $122,600.00 and $204,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
