Summary: As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Your typical day will involve assisting in the design of software configuration and customization to align with business process design and application requirements, ensuring that all configurations meet the necessary standards and specifications. You will collaborate with various teams to facilitate smooth deployment and integration of software solutions, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server ND & Liberty, IBM HTTP Server, and related components. Sound understanding of JVM performance tuning, GC analysis, and log management. Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments. Working knowledge of SSL/TLS, keystores, and truststores management. Familiarity with middleware tools like IBM MQ, NiFi. Experience in ELK. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Ansible, or similar automation frameworks Roles & Responsibilities: Administer IBM WebSphere Application Server (ND & Liberty) across Uline environments (DEV, UAT, SYS, TRN and PROD). Support and manage IBM HTTP Server (IHS) and its integrations with WAS. Handle application deployments. Work closely with Platform and Linux teams for coordinated activities such as patching, DR validation, and infrastructure upgrades. Renew SSL certificates. Troubleshoot issues in coordination with MQ, NiFi, and Core Infrastructure teams. Perform WAS upgrades, fix pack implementations, and configuration migrations following the change management process. Validate activities through 4-Eye checks, ensuring proper documentation and communication within the team. Maintain documentation, and configuration baselines in Confluence. Support DR, Health checks, and proactive monitoring. Work on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform reliability and operational efficiency. Available for Shifts & On-call Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server Application Deployment - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
