We are excited to announce several evening shift job openings at our head office in Richmond, BC. Due to significant growth and increased demand for our products-which serve the food industry, bakery, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics industries-we are looking for talented team members.

We are currently seeking an extraordinary Manufacturer Cleaner – Fabrication Shop in a cleaning and prep focused position to join our growing and passionate Unifiller team. This person will assist the welding department with daily tasks, including preparation and clean-up activities. Maintain the quality standards expected by Unifiller Systems Inc.  This is a full-time day shift position.

Work You’ll Do:

• Making welds look clean, fabricated and turning raw parts into polished parts.
• Aftercare of manufactured parts for fabrication ship.
• Store raw materials in appropriate racks and keep raw material areas clean and hazard-free
• Clean components after welding to remove heat marks, using pickling paste, grinders, and sanders as appropriate
• Significant time spent involves passivating and cleaning welds.
• Carry out other duties as assigned
• Maintain safe work practices by using all required safety equipment and procedures
• Keep work area neat and organized to facilitate efficient processes and safety
• Perform work that in environment that may be loud at times, wear hearing protection, face shields. And steel toed boots

Basic Qualifications:

• Education: Secondary diploma
• Mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
• Professional attitude and commitment to quality
• Ability to work under pressure and stay calm during hectic periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial work environment
• Manufacturing experience with stainless steel is an asset, but not required
• Relevant experience in cleaning, prep, or related fields
