Introduction

We are looking for a Delivery Lead to join our Software & Platform Engineering (S&PE) capability within Accenture Technology. In this role, you will be accountable for the delivery of large, complex technology projects, managing scope, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Your job

As a Delivery Lead, you will:

• Manage the delivery of large and complex projects using appropriate frameworks.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Identify and assess complex problems within your area of responsibility and recommend innovative solutions.
• Drive service quality and cost management, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
• Manage blended teams (onshore/offshore), fostering cohesion and performance.
• Proactively support sales initiatives through innovative solutions and delivery excellence.
• Ensure project governance: reporting, risk/issue management, change management, and escalation handling.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and milestones to leadership in a timely manner.
• Analyze and mitigate project risks effectively while managing budgets and resources.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and growth.
• Contribute to the growth of S&PE by building strong Delivery Lead practices and sharing best practices.

Your background

• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT project delivery, including at least 3 years in leadership/project management.
• Proven ability to manage large and complex technology projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills.
• Ability to establish strong client relationships and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Results orientation, with ability to perform under pressure.
• Affinity with technology and innovation.
• Fluency in English + French OR Dutch is mandatory.
• Agile Project Management knowledge or certification (nice to have).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification (nice to have).

Certifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Project Management, or equivalent (preferred).
