7-Eleven is looking for an experienced Domain Architect to help deliver pragmatic business outcomes as the organisation embraces digital transformation to deliver products and services. This role focuses on optimising the experience in stores for customers, employees and trading partners through innovative solutions and leveraging technology, data and AI to achieve outcomes. 

Reporting to the Architecture Chapter Lead, you will provide specialist advice, expertise and leadership to support the delivery of architecture services.

What is the role?

• Define and drive the technology strategy for supply chain and retail store domains
• Produce and maintain technology roadmaps to ensure we meet current and future needs
• Provide thought leadership on innovations and solutions for the domain
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and explore opportunities for technology uplift to ensure we build scalable, reliable and secure solutions
• Shape and manage the domain architecture to ensure solution designs adheres to enterprise principles, as well as aligned with industry best practices.
• Lead vendor evaluations and selection of technology capabilities that are being adopted by 7-eleven
• Manage vendor relationships for platforms and services in the domain
• Guide, enable and provide mentorship to product and platform squads

• Demonstrated expertise in a range of business domains, and specifically supply chain, retail and store technologies
• Demonstrated leadership and technical skills in platform architecture
• Experience in designing scalable and secure architectures
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
