We are looking for an exceptional Senior Technical Instructor/Trainer to join the Education and Training team working closely with cross-business functions to create, execute and operationalize instructor-led training, both virtually and in-person, for our customers and partners. You will also be responsible to:
Program Strategy and Development:
Design, build and operationalize program capabilities, frameworks and metrics.
Harmonize cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to ensure ongoing alignment to the programs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to create engaging learning activities and compelling curriculum to enhance retention and drive customer outcomes.
Maintain and update training materials in response to product updates, or changes in curriculum to stay in alignment with adjacent training in different formats.
Develop advanced instructor-led training materials to meet the growing demands of our customers.
Provide recommendations to continuously improve and grow Workato’s education services.
Stay up to date with industry tools and technologies to improve the virtual and in-person training experience.
Program Execution and Assessment:
Responsible for the overall experience of students attending the instructor-led events
Deliver engaging and impactful training sessions virtually and in-person, ensuring participants gain a deep understanding of Workato’s Enterprise Orchestration capabilities
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver a comprehensive suite of instructor-led events, targeting different customer personas and skill-level
Adapt training delivery methods to accommodate to various personas
Assess student submissions of practical exercises
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as:
End-of-session surveys
Instructor Utilization %
% registration to participation
% of participation to passed exams
Testimonial collection
5-7+ years of experience in any of the following at a SaaS/iPaaS company:
Technical Instruction
Solutions engineering or consulting (pre or post-sales)
Customer-facing professional services
Preference will be given to candidates who:
Located in Mountain View, California or Denver, Colorado
Have proficiency using the Workato application +++
Have worked specifically as a Technical Instructor ++
Have a background in iPaaS, computer science, automation, integration, or technical topics adjacent to Workato’s technology +
Have a BS or Masters in Computer Science/Engineering
Are within driving distance to our United States office locations: Mountain View, Denver
Estimated 30% travel required.

For California applicants, the pay for this role begins at $120,000 plus benefits, perks, and equity.
