Whether that's evolving our streaming and digital products in new and immersive ways, powering worldwide advertising and distribution to maximize flexibility and efficiency, or delivering Disney's unmatched entertainment and sports content, every day is a moment to make a difference to partners and to hundreds of millions of people around the world.

A few reasons why we think you'd love working for Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology:

  • Building the future of Disney's media business: DE&E Technologists are designing and building the infrastructure that will power Disney's media, advertising, and distribution businesses for years to come.
  • Reach & Scale: The products and platforms this group builds and operates delight millions of consumers every minute of every day – from Disney+ and Hulu, to ABC News and Entertainment, to ESPN and ESPN+, and much more.
  • Innovation: We develop and execute groundbreaking products and techniques that shape industry norms and enhance how audiences experience sports, entertainment & news.

DE&ET Ad Platforms is seeking a Product Manager – Programmatic Data and BI

Our team is dedicated to building and managing the technology driving Disney's multi-billion dollar advertising enterprise. Working with globally distributed teams across all Disney media brands, we influence everything from foundational infrastructure development to innovative ad experiences and formats. Recognized for our award-winning technologies, we are integral to Disney's advertising success and the future of streaming.

Job Summary:

Join us as a Product Manager – Programmatic Revenue, where you will play a central role in the integrity, scalability, and growth of Disney's programmatic advertising data platform. Reporting to the Manager of Product Management for Data Platforms, you will own end-to-end operations and product delivery for Programmatic data products.

You will refine and evolve the programmatic data model for Disney, bringing together first-party and third party data sources  (SSPs, DSPs, ad servers), into a coherent consumption layer that will surface insights that drive growth and impact in programmatic advertising.

You will be responsible for the tracking of high-exposure programmatic revenue, and cross-functional product delivery in partnership with Finance, BI, Ad Sales, and Technology teams. You will also drive readiness for international programmatic expansion across international markets.

We're seeking a technically fluent, cross-functionally minded operator who thrives at the intersection of data, product, and partnerships. If you're someone who takes ownership across complex systems, communicates confidently with both engineering teams and senior business stakeholders, and is energized by solving high-stakes data problems at scale — this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Run programmatic self-service reporting via STAQ end to end — from intake and planning through staging, QA, production, and stakeholder handoff.
  • Serve as internal POC for programmatic data and the STAQ platform across Product, TPMs, BI, ODS, Ad Sales Finance, Revenue Yield Management, Saleshub, Tech Ops, Accounting, Planners, Account Management, and Automated Operations teams.
  • Serve as external POC to SSPs, DSPs, and ad servers; function as Disney's liaison to STAQ support — managing bug validation, release testing, and feature requests.
  • Design, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and third-party business logic; drive improvements to reduce job failures and improve runtime performance.
  • Maintain operational documentation including the operations manual, user guides, SOX/audit documentation, and Jira workflows; organize STAQ sprints and maintain the STAQ roadmap.
  • May mentor junior team members in platform operations, integration practices, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technology or business domains
  • 3+ years of product management or equivalent experience in programmatic advertising, data operations, or a technically adjacent domain
  • Deep familiarity with the programmatic advertising ecosystem — SSPs, DSPs, ad servers, auction mechanics, and revenue attribution
  • Proven experience managing complex third-party data integrations, including API-based ingestion, normalization, and QA workflows
  • Strong understanding of data pipeline operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Unwavering bias for execution and impeccable follow-through
  • Strong command of project management principles and tools (Jira, Airtable, Google Workspace) with experience owning product roadmaps and sprint workflows
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver solutions in a fluid environment across a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

  • Experience supporting financial close or billing processes in an advertising or media context; comfort working with high-revenue, high-accuracy data
  • Proficiency in Python or similar scripting language for data validation and workflow automation
  • Experience with AI coding tools and/or agentic IDEs in writing queries, building prototypes and/or automating workflows.
  • Proven success in a product role with a demonstrated record of delivery and excellence
  • Experience working in streaming media, digital advertising, or a data-intensive technology environment
The hiring range for this position in New York, New York is $123,000 to $165,000 per year and in Bristol, Connecticut is $117,500 to $157,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
