What’s the role?
As a Senior Product Designer on this team you will define and craft solutions that show users the depth and breadth of the payments experience. You bring deep knowledge of native app design and UX patterns, providing a tried and tested set of processes to design solutions to a range of customer problems to introduce 89 million active buyers to the breadth and depth of Etsy’s global marketplace.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Product Design Manager, Payments. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.
For this role, we are only considering candidates based in Mexico, however candidates living within commutable distance of the Etsy Mexico office will be the first to be considered. Even if located within commuting distance of an office, you will have the option to work office-based, flex, or remotely.

What’s this team like at Etsy?
Join a team focused on and passionate about improving the Payments experience! You will collaborate with cross-functional product partners in engineering, research, analytics, and product management. You’ll set design strategy and priorities and run experiments to optimize the payments experience for buyers and sellers at Etsy. You’ll deliver solutions to challenging problems and get feedback directly from customers.
What does the day-to-day look like?
Uncovering insights, opportunities, and requirements
Testing prototypes and hypotheses with users to collect feedback
Launching experiments and evaluating how they perform and how to iterate
Defining and designing longer term future experiences that help set product vision
Sharing your work to peers and leadership, asynchronous and in-person
Taking part in weekly design critiques, workshops, all hands and squad meetings
Thinking and writing about your process and documenting your decisions
