The Accommodations Coordinator for the Center for Accessibility Services reports to the Assistant Dean of the Center for Accessibility Services. The Coordinator supports the administrative operations of the Center as well as manages the peer notetaking accommodation. This position assists with Glean, alternate format for textbooks, assistive technology, and the Testing Center.
40 % of Time: Support the administrative operations of the Center for Accessibility Services
Oversee the master list of accommodations, ensuring information is up-to-date and accurate
Send letters of accommodation to students and faculty
Assist with the implementation of Accessibility functions in Workday
Complete contract requisitions through Workday
Assist in the onboarding of new employees
Review the access.edu email daily and triage requests as necessary
25 % of Time: Assist and support the usage around Glean, Alternate format for textbooks and assistive technology
Add and delete licenses as assigned
Create online trainings and training materials
Send bimonthly Glean tip emails to students approved for Glean
Maintain Bookshare website, adding and deleting memberships as assigned
Find alternate text, if books are not available in Bookshare or at the Endicott Bookstore
Create and maintain a database of alternate text received
Create online trainings and training materials for students with Read and Write, Smart Pens or other technology
Meet with students individually for assistive technology support
20% of Time: Oversee the Peer Note taking service
Manage the Peer Note Taking work study students
Hire and manage peer notetakers
Ensure that students who are eligible for a peer notetaker are receiving notes
10 % of Time: Support the Testing Center for individual requests or as needed
Act as a reader or scribe, as needed
Help with breaks for Stop the Clock testing, as needed
Act as an additional proctor and support during finals week
Cover the front desk when the Accessibility Services Assistants are absent or need breaks
5 % of Time: Other duties as assigned

Master’s Degree
2-4 years’ experience working in higher education or Disability/Accessibility Service Offices, preferred
Demonstrated commitment to student access and success
Demonstrated experience and skill working in an administrative capacity
Strong organizational skills with expertise in planning, problem-solving, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with careful attention to detail
Proficient in G-suite and computer skills
