Job Description

As an Junior Software Engineer, you will participate in development of industry-leading commercial software, known for its innovation and usability. You will also perform basic software testing tasks including test planning, scheduling, and execution. You will work with senior developers. You will also learn from a diverse set of technical backgrounds and opinions. We will foster a team-oriented environment, and use open and direct communications and respect to achieve this.

You will report to the Software Development Manager and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document code, according to the development process, that satisfies the software design.
  • Implement comprehensive unit test and integration test plans.
  • Report found exceptions.
  • Analyze, debug and correct anomalies.
  • Participate in reviews of documents, designs, code, test cases and user documentation.
  • Provide work estimates and status report.
  • Maintain interactions to ensure assigned tasks are prioritized.
  • Apply basic knowledge of software test methodologies.
  • Collaborate with others through mutually supportive professional relationships, open and direct communications and respect.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Apply C++ programming language.
  • Apply data structures and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design.
  • Knowledge of design patterns.
  • Experience with GUI development tools.
  • Experience with databases.
  • Software development on Windows.
  • Perform unit tests and integration tests.
  • Collaborate with team members and build relationships.
  • Communicative English that enables collaboration within a global team - both verbal and written.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Experience in a software product development environment and the ability to apply it to real‑world problems.
  • Experience in version control tools.
  • Agile software development using Scrum.
