Broadridge is growing! We are actively seeking a Machinist for our El Dorado Hills facility.

This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machinist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for manufacturing parts for prototypes, spare parts, production builds, and repairs using various machining equipment. The Machinist will work closely with engineers to develop and produce prototype components and will also manufacture parts for production systems and support plant equipment needs. Hands-on, climate-controlled production setting focused on precision machining and part fabrication.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficiently use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, and gauges.
  • Lay out, set up, and machine precision parts and fixtures following defined operating methods and sequences.
  • Provide manufacturing advice to internal departments; design, create, and/or repair plant equipment as needed.
  • Set up and operate CNC and manual machines—including mills, lathes, drill presses, saws, and grinders—to produce precision parts to specification; demonstrate basic knowledge of G-code and M-code programming principles.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers on prototype manufacturing and product development efforts.
  • Safely utilize hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment in compliance with company and industry safety standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and drafting standards to produce parts to specification.
  • Demonstrate expertise in machining and restoring damaged or worn components in the absence of technical drawings by applying measurement analysis, manual sketching, and reverse-engineering techniques to achieve full functionality.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions obtained from orthographic and isometric projections to ensure accurate and precise fabrication.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and meet project deadlines.
  • Lift, move, and manipulate parts or assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Journeyman status preferred.
  • Experience with machining equipment, including drill presses, saws, grinders, and basic power tools.
  • Blueprint reading and understanding of drafting standards preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
  • Physical ability to lift and handle components up to 50 lbs.

Shift: Monday – Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Hourly Rate: $23.86– 31.20 USD per hour depending on experience – Bonus Eligible
