Responsibilities

  • Perform equipment / instrument calibration and troubleshooting, executed in compliance with cGMP, EHS, Data Integrity and regulatory requirements for the sterile manufacturing site.
  • Plan and execute the routine maintenance for the site utilities systems, production equipment, control systems, etc.
  • Complete the routine maintenance works as scheduled and in compliance with Engineering standards and safety procedures.
  • All GMP documentation related to maintenance activities is completed accurately and processed to full completion in compliance to data integrity requirement.
  • Complete training provided to build-up the competencies.
  • Comply to the instrument maintenance procedures/SOPs and good documentation system to ensure quality assurance operations.
  • Support problem solving effort that is related to instrument issues to identify root cause, evaluate alternative solutions, and develop action plans.
  • Support third-party vendor who is contracted to perform routine calibration, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and any other maintenance related activity.

Requirements

  • NITEC or Diploma in Engineering related qualifications. Preferably in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Instrumentation.
  • Minimum 5 years with relevant experiences in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to read PID drawing, Instrument loop drawing and instrument panel drawing.
  • Proficient in oral and written English.
  • Able to work in a fast pace and a regulated environment.
  • Experience in solving field instrumentation and automation systems issues.
  • Experience in PLC, SCADA and HMI panel operations will be added advantage.
  • Available on-call and able to work overtime when required to support ongoing operations.
  • Knowledge in Calibration Processes and basics of Automation System.
  • Strong understanding of facilities systems related validation/GMP requirements.
  • Strong troubleshooting skill and a good knowledge of different RCA tools.
  • Good Communication skills and Excellent Teammate.
  • Able to work independently and Diligent in performing operational checks.
  • Comfortable to work in 12-hours rotating shift
