Position Details

  • Full-time Only - Monday – Friday, Daytime hours, 8 hours per day
  • No weekends or holidays (unless on call)
  • Includes on-call duties


Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Preferred, NOT required: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistance program,
  • Certified Nursing Assistance program or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • Experience as a Medical assistant, Patient Care Tech/Nursing Assistant or similar position highly preferred
  • Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy & medical terminology required, basic computer experience, able to take vitals and perform CPR
  • CPR (Basic life support) issued by American Heart Association upon hire.

Job Duties

  • Room patients, take vital signs
  • Maintain the procedure room set up, equipment care and maintenance
  • Assist with specimen collection 
  • Assist physicians during procedures
  • Disinfect instruments
  • Assist with patient care under the supervision of the RN
