Role Summary:
AIS production Support is seeking an experienced Functional Application Support professional to provide end-to-end support for the Investran application, ensuring smooth operations and timely resolution of functional issues. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of private equity workflows and experience in supporting financial applications. Collaborate with development teams for system upgrades, patches, and enhancements. Prepare and execute functional test cases for new releases and changes. Document functional requirements and participate in UAT.
This role requires strong functional expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with business and technology teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
Provide functional support for the Investran application, including troubleshooting and resolving user issues. Address application issues and queries that come via tickets, emails, phone calls and automated alerts. Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams for application-related queries. Plan and manage the daily tickets, processes and tasks and the effective utilization of resources with the support of the Manager. Ensure adherence to AIS/State Street internal policies and procedures Set and maintain standards of personal and professional performance/behavior. Ability to work to tight deadlines, balance multiple issues while all the time retaining strong customer focus. Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and issue resolutions. Flexibility to be crossed trained and support other applications as appropriate Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend permanent fixes.
Core/Must have skills:
Hedge Fund Accounting
Private Equity Fund accounting>
Strong numerical, analytical and problem resolution skills – ability to prove out P&L allocations, management / incentive fees and ROR’s etc.
Knowledge of private equity fund structures, investor reporting, and performance metrics (MTD, YTD, IRR, ROR)
Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of Investran application and related modules (Partnership Accounting, Investor Reporting, etc.)
Technical expertise to investigate different app logs
Investigating issues with up and downstream connections
Issue, Incident, Problem, Change & Release Management
UAT environment support & testing
Working with vendor support ( creating cases and following up)
Banking domain preferably knowledge of Hedge/Private Equity Fund and it's accounting, Trade life cyle, settlement and Clearing, Corporate Action, securities, financial instrument types
Good to have skills
proficiency in writing PL/SQL queries
experience with tools Autosys, ServiceNow, Geneos, Dynatrace, Splunk
Debugging java logs , debugging stored procedures in Sybase or Oracle database, debugging report logics
Work Schedule : Shift coverage in between 12 pm to 3 am IST, requires rotational night shift
