Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Manufacturing Superintendent (Level M) to support the Final Assembly Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.
The Final Assembly North Superintendent is responsible for developing Final Assembly P0 and P1 plans, conducting capacity analysis, managing Performance to Plan, and implementing strategies to ensure employee and product safety, first pass quality, continuous improvement, and increased productivity. They will lead first-line and mid-level managers, develop strategic plans to support emergent requests, review and adjust implementation plans, resolve issues, and provide coaching, counseling, mentoring, and developmental opportunities to enhance teammate performance. Additionally, they will promote employee engagement and cultivate an organizational culture that improves employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and mid-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines
Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives
Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Ability to travel based on needs of the business
5+ years of experience within the aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing industry
5+ years of experience leading and working with cross-functional teams
5+ years of experience in advising and influencing others to meet quality and safety requirements or resolve technical or operational problems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher or relevant experience
Experience with Systematic Problem Solving and Standardized Work
Strong leadership capabilities, flexibility and adaptability
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong stakeholder management skills with Executive Level communication experience
Direct functional experience within Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Engineering, or Supply Chain
Demonstrated leadership experience driving successful execution

Summary pay range: $153,850 - $208,150
