What you will do

To Install, test and commission Automatic Sprinkler systems to the relevant standards and to provide the highest level of customer service through the maximisation of resources and sensitivity to costs and budgets. Also required to fabricate, install and carry out repairs to Automatic Sprinkler system pipework and components. Attend callouts as and when required in order to meet customer demands and internal processes / rotas.

How you will do it

  • Provide excellent Customer Service to meet the expectations and requirements of both the internal and external customers, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers.

  • To fabricate, test and install the appropriate pipework / systems; dismantle and reconstruct equipment as the need arises by the customer or Nu-Form Fire.

  • Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation / service debris and waste accurately.

  • Install / test and repair in accordance with relevant service standards.

  • Follow and install following fabrication drawings / instructions.

  • Report and document fully any changes, deficiencies or deviations in systems.

  • Accurately complete Engineer work reports, handover certificates / pressure test certificates or checklist as appropriate.

What we look for

  • Appropriate experience in a customer facing environment

  • Demonstrate a successful track record of achievement

  • Preferable time served within a technical environment such as fire Sprinkler Systems.

  • Must possess sound industry knowledge and have shown background through recognised apprenticeship or hold similar qualification.

  • Knowledge of the British Standard BSEN12845 and Factory Mutual regulations Full UK driving licence

  • Ability to lift, carry and climb ladders. To carry equipment, ie; pipework etc up and down ladders ensuring conformance to health and safety requirements. Ability to work at high level when required.

  • Ability to use power tools to repair and / or dismantle systems pipework or components.

  • Preferred to also possess LPCB Module 1 and Module 2 Qualifications.
