We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Fellow to join the Robotics Research Centre (RRC) at NTU. The position will focus on developing and optimizing control algorithms for exoskeleton robotic systems, aimed at improving human mobility and assisting individuals for lifestyle physical activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics, control systems, mechatronics or related fields, and will contribute to pioneering research at the intersection of robotics and human movement.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement control strategies for exoskeleton robots to enhance adaptive assistance for human movement.
Develop methods to incorporate real-time sensor data (e.g. IMU, encoder) to understand gait phase patterns in multi-terrain settings.
Optimize control systems based on human-robot interaction dynamics.
Analyze experimental data, assess the performance of control algorithms, and contribute to improving system designs.
Job Requirements:
PhD in Robotics, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience in exoskeleton controller design and system implementation.
Knowledge of machine learning and adaptive control algorithms is highly desirable.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
