The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airlines (BCA), ETC (Electrical Technical Center) Electrical Design organization has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Wiring Installation Technical Designer (Level 4) in Everett, WA and Renton, WA to help us define the future of commercial aerospace with innovative ideas that advance or culture of safety and quality that our customers, the flying public, expect.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops, maintains and releases Wire Harness details, assemblies and installation designs for our diverse portfolio of advanced Commercial Aircraft. This includes electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying Company, industry and governmental standards.
Using design tools prepares documentation and incorporates design changes.
Creates, develops and maintains systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs and assisting in identifying design discrepancies.
Supports engineering system design and functionality validation activities.
Develops and maintains product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to moderately complex.
Coordinates activities and products with internal partners and external suppliers.
Works under general direction of a lead engineer and an experienced mentor to enhance both your technical learning and career growth.
Work Authorization:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with wire harness, electrical and/or mechanical design.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
3+ years of experience with Computer aided design (CAD) tools are a plus.
Experience working in a cross functional team environment and have good verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of CATIA V5.

Senior (Level 4): $80,750 - $109,250
