Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the application meets the desired requirements. The engineer acts as the main liaison for the project, guiding the team through challenges and driving the successful delivery of solutions. Collaboration and proactive problem-solving are key aspects of the daily routine, along with continuous monitoring and refinement of the application to align with evolving business needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project goals and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any risks or issues that may arise.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- Strong understanding of IT service management processes and workflows.
- Experience in configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules to meet business requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the ServiceNow platform.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and automation within ServiceNow environments.
- Skilled in integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and tools.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
