Role:

Analyzes and develops transportation plans to control the movement of commodities throughout a manufacturing or distribution network to ensure the smooth running of operations at optimal transportation cost levels.

What you'll do:

• Analyzing transportation plans and identifying opportunities for improvements to meet client needs.
• Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.
• Generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs, carrier performance and lead times.
• Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity and providing solutions to reduce lead times.

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree to the Supply Chain field or related field
• Fluent English (Intermediate to Advanced)

• Adjust priorities when conditions change or new information arises.

Effective Communications:

• Communicates clearly and in a timely manner the need for a decision to the appropriate people

Decision Making and Critical Thinking:

• Knowledge of data analysis.
• Ability to distinguish between the decisions they can make autonomously and those that require higher‑level approval

Flexibility and Adaptability:

• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change

Service Excellence

• Strong background in customer service and negotiation to ensure effective and satisfactory relationships.

Considerations for the best candidates:

• Have at least 2 years working in a similar or related Transportation position
• Advanced English
