Job Title: HR Generalist

General Summary of Duties:

Under the guidance of the Director, the HR Generalist will act as a point of contact for clients and employees. This position will ensure OneDigital adheres to relevant employment laws and regulations, and assists with a broad array of HR topics such as recruiting, compensation, hiring, onboarding, evaluations and employee relations issues.

Job Duties:

  • Services clients on staffing client offices and assisting with human resource advice and employee relations issues in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Assists in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
  • Provides support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation and resolve and issues that may arise.
  • Assists Director in development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Assists Director in gathering and analyzing data with useful HR metrics, such as time to hire and employee turnover rates.
  • Ensures compliance with labor regulations.
  • Assists Director with employee relations issues, client employee reviews, disciplines, performance improvement plans and discharges.
  • Works with the OneDigital HR team with workers’ compensation intake and reporting.
  • Participates in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements.
  • Works with Director to suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of OD.
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary.

Performance Requirements:  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Desire to work with a team with a results drive approach.
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Able to work independently and meet established deadlines.
  • Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptiveness to change. Displays creativity and innovation.
  • Ability to identify and calmly handle inherently stressful situations with tact.

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $85,000 to $90,000 per year.

  

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.  We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs.
