Position Summary

We are seeking a part-time Professional Rater I to join the team on the Adolescent Brain and Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study at Washington University in St. Louis. The ABCD Study is a large-scale study to determine how childhood experiences interact with each other and with a child’s changing biology to affect brain development and social, behavioral, academic, health, and other outcomes. As a Professional Rater I, you will work with youth and adult participants representative of the St. Louis community at their annual ABCD study visits.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Recruits, interviews, screens and schedules subjects for study per protocol.
• Performs phlebotomy and skin testing in accordance with study guidelines.
• Administers/scores standard tests, dependent on study.
• Refers patients to resources available in community and social services.
• Maintains proper documentation and record keeping.
• Monitors and orders supplies necessary for study.
• Delivers study samples to lab for testing.
• Prepares information packets for patients enrolled in study.
• May receive training from Professional Rater II, Professional Rater III or others based on organizational structure.

Salary Range

$17.34 - $25.40 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
