REQUIREMENTS:

*Must have current National Certified Clinical Medical Assistant certification

*Must be willing to work in all four of our locations (Myrtle Beach, Conway, Loris and Murrells Inlet)

Are you a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant looking to join a great organization where you can put your skills and experience to work and help your community?

Coastal Cancer Center is looking for an experienced Certified Clinical Medical Assistant to work with a team of oncology physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants along with other MAs and LPNs to facilitate patient care in a clinical environment. This position requires a high degree of responsibility, accuracy, and clinical medical assistant skills.

Required Experience:

  • Direct patient care
  • Experience with venipuncture and blood collection skills
  • Direct experience working one on one with physicians and other healthcare providers
  • Ability to administer injections, obtain vitals and assist providers during procedures
  • Solid working knowledge of medical records (labs, pathology, diagnostic imaging, reports) and electronic health information systems
  • Experience with billing and diagnosis codes
  • Coordination with schedules, appointments, referrals, and prescription renewals

The candidate must have a minimum of 1-year experience and have current Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited certifying entity.
