Task
Transmutex is looking to hire a chemist or chemical engineer. As such, you are part of the company's fuel unit and report directly to its head. Your principal task is to contribute to an entirely new approach to nuclear fuel for use in a fast neutron subcritical system for the transmutation of long-lived waste. Based on Thorium and pyro-processing, this role is in charge of reinventing partitioning and transmutation based on the best available technologies from the leading research institutes worldwide.
Requirements
a. Master's degree in nuclear chemical engineering, chemistry or nuclear physics,
b. Experience in or willingness to glove box work either for analytical, radiological or biological hazardous environment,
c. Deep understanding of solid state or inorganic chemistry or physics background,
d. German speaking
e. Readiness to work in a nuclear controlled area .
