The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Virtualization & Hardware System Administrator to join our team. Based in San Antonio, TX or remotely.


Responsibilities:

A day in the life (just a few of the things you may do on any given day):

  • Provide valuable insight by knowledge sharing between the virtualization and hardware teams

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Extensive experience with HPE One View, HPE Synergy Composer in the deployment and management of HPE C7000 and Synergy enclosures in a data center for virtualization environments.
  • Demonstrated HPE One View experience updating firmware, configuring logical components such as network and server profiles as well as physical resources such as servers, interconnects and enclosures.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Storage and Networking teams to provide access to servers\enclosures.
  • Extensive VMware Virtualization Experience - install, configure, and manage VMware environment, including Datacenter cluster(s) managed by vCenter
  • Knowledge and working experience of vRealize Operations (vROps) - use vROps for capacity planning and to troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Network knowledge, skills and demonstrated experience in a complex network data center environment.
  • PowerCLI/PowerShell script or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • VMware Log Insight (LI) experience collecting logs, alerting, and troubleshooting VMware environments
  • VMware Life Cycle Manager (LCM) for managing vCenter, vSphere, and vROPs
  • Experience with replication technologies in a VMware environment - vSphere Replication, Site Recovery Manager
  • Demonstrated Linux System Administration skills




Desired:

Experience with VMware NSX operations preferred.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
