CACI is seeking a User Experience Engineer in the Chantilly, VA area.


What You’ll Get to Do:

The User Experience Engineer will support the implementation of a COTS HCM system. The candidate will interface with stakeholders and system users and applies his/her skills in systems development, knowledge of user experience and technical background to implement solutions. This role is responsible for researching, conceptualizing, designing, and making applications more usable and user friendly.



More About the Role:

  • Ensure compliance with customer accessibility guidelines and mandates.
  • Analyze requirements and propose interface designs based on user needs.
  • Evaluate and collect all user requirements and collaborate with product engineers and managers.
  • Illustrate design concepts, use sitemaps, process flows, and storyboards.
  • Develop strategies, approaches, and plans to support system implementation activities.
  • Collect and evaluate user requirements with the help of product managers and engineers.
  • Use storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to illustrate design concepts.
  • Work with developers to create standards for page designs.
  • Create UI mockups and prototypes that clearly show how sites work and look.
  • Identify and resolve UX issues.
  • Make layout changes based on user feedback. Follow font, color, and image style guidelines.




You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in information technology.
  • Expertise in understanding user workflows and designing new features through. wireframes/mockups of the UI.
  • Experience with XML specifications.
  • Experience with CSS.
  • Cloud Native application software development and deployment.
  • Fine grain access control, Back-end systems, and cross domain services integration.
  • Strong client facing skills and ability to interact at a high level with client leadership.
  • Agile methodology experience.
  • Active/current TS/SCI clearance is required.




These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in information technology.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, JAVA, Javascript, HTML, PHP Languages.
  • Familiarity with SGML, XSLT.
  • Relational database experience.
  • Technical certifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$94,400 - $198,300
